Our daughter was one of these differently abled children when she passed away almost ten years ago. Upon her passing, our family had the desire to touch the lives of children like Makenzie and their families in a very special way. We know, first-hand, the difficulties families face with needing medical equipment, supplies, items to improve their child's quality of life; however, insurance does not pay for all the needs our children may have. We started Friendz of Kenz to pay for those specific items that are not fundable through insurance / Medicaid. Our process is as simple as filling out a contact form which adds the ease for families whose time is already scarce. We do not request financial information. We feel the need should be based on the child and not the family's income. To date, we have helped almost 100 children and are blessed one million times over.
